Tucked away on the East Cape 45 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport, the multi-themed course at Costa Palmas, centerpiece of a 1,000-acre resort community on the Sea of Cortes, stretches across a rolling “dunescape” framed by the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains. Wide fairways dotted with bunkers and firm, fast conditions characterize the breezy layout, which rises nearly 40 meters above sea level.

Described by designer Robert Trent Jones, Jr. as “a golf symphony composed of three movements and two transitions,” the walkable layout’s first six holes feature greens with open entrances, a design feature that allows golfers to utilize bump-and-run shots and other links strategies to get the ball close to the hole. After exploring a mesquite grove at the high point of the course, the layout’s 18th hole, a sweeping 450-yard par 4, offers fine views of azure-blue coves and the resort’s marina.

The golf club also includes a six-hole, par-3 short course and a one-acre practice putting green. Bouchie’s, a casual, open-air café located beside the practice green, is a family-friendly gathering spot.

The golf facility is offered as an exclusive amenity to Costa Palmas community owners as well as guests of the on-site Four Seasons Resort Los Cabos at Costa Palmas.
